I'm startin' with the man in the mirror

Latest painting. I tried to go for a broad, painterly style with large patches of unblended colour next to each other. Not sure I really got it, but at least I tried.

Sonic! He can really move! Sonic! He's got attitude!

This is by far the best and most complicated animation I've ever done. I don't even know why I'm in still in school.

It took a long time, but I'm really happy with how it turned out, and it was a huge learning experience. As a bonus, here are some smears I drew for the animation that didn't make the cut. I include them only because I think they look cool.

Snow day blues

I've recently come across a way of "drawing" in photoshop that I'm really excited about. Although I wanna play around with it a lot more, I'm really pleased with how my first few attempts turned out. I'm not very good at explaining how it's done, but you can read about the process here:
